Namaste!!My name is Swapnam Kumar. I am originally from India. I moved to the USA in1999. I have lived and taught in different countries of Africa from1979 till 1992. Then I moved back to India and taught in India from1993 till 1998. This is my 6th year at Hickman Mills School Districtand 28 years of  total teaching experience. I have traveled almost all over the world. The traveling and teaching at different parts of the world have enriched me with the experiences, which is very beneficial to me as an ESOL teacher. I can connect and relate with my students very well. I can understand what ELLs are going through culturally and academically. I can speak three languages fluently: Hindi, English and Urdu and can understand few more.
