     Dobbs Elementary School Welcomes You!
 
 
   We are proud of our school and want to communicate the wonderful things that are happening.  Our courtyard received a makeover, with twenty-two plants and six picnic tables.  Thanks to out UMKC partners who gave our halls color and words of inspiration painted on them.  Our building wide reading time (Dolphin Time) is going great and scholars are already showing progress.
 
   Parents are valued partners in our learning community and are encouraged to visit the school, consult with the staff, and participate in the school functions.  We invite you to become an active member in our PTA.  This is a highly respected organization that is actively involved in our school.  Our community partners include: Cross-Point Community Church and Cerner lunch buddy project.
 
   School Spirit is abundant at Dobbs.  Our scholars and staff feel pride wearing their school purple shirts.  Our school pride has helped others in need with can good donations and funds school field trips.
