Hello!  As your child’s school counselor I am also available to consult with you and your family.  Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I graduated with my teaching degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1972 with a BS in Education.  I furthered my studies at UMKC from 1981 to 1988 achieving my Master’s in Counseling and Guidance and then my Educational Specialist in 1988. 

I worked in the Safe and Drug Free School’s Title 4 Program at the Kansas City Missouri School District (KMSD) until 2002.  In 2002 I became an elementary school counselor.  After retiring from KCMSD, I joined the Hickman Mill C-1 School District as a counselor at Santa Fe.

I enjoy traveling, reading, biking and gardening.  My job is rewarding and challenging.
