Welcome to the Hickman Mills ESOL website!  Our ESOL program offers intensive English language interventions for all students in the district who meet the districts requirements.

The major goals of the ESOL program are:

• to prepare students to function successfully in the mainstream classroom.
• to provide basic skills instruction for those who have little previous schooling.
• to provide assistance to those who are adjusting to a new school, community, or country.
• to minimize language and cultural barriers to allow parents to participate in their children's education.
