About the Missouri A+ Program

In an effort to make college or vocational education available to every Missouri high school graduate, the Missouri General Assembly established the A+ Schools Program as part of the Outstanding Schools Act (Senate Bill 380) of 1993.

Goals of the A+ Program

  • All students will graduate from high school
  • All students will complete high school studies that are challenging and that have identified learning expectations
  • All students will proceed from high school graduation to college, post-secondary vocational or technical school, or a high wage job with opportunities for workplace skill development opportunities
