Accreditation

The Hickman Mills C-1 School District is provisionally accredited by
the state of Missouri. The district employs approximately 650
full-time teachers. All have college degrees and are certified to
teach by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education.

Certification Requirements

All certified employees are responsible for obtaining initial certification
and maintaining renewals. The Human Resources Department stands
ready to assist you.

Please note: Effective August 28, 2003, the previous three-level
system of certification has been replaced with a two-level system,
Initial Professional Certificate and the Career Continuous
Professional Certificate.
