Currently serving as an Active-Duty Medical Services Officer (1LT) and Physician Assistant Student (PA-S) through the Army and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Ronisha has forged a path of excellence in the military and healthcare fields. By embracing various activities that helped her build leadership and interpersonal skills, her time at Ruskin helped shape her commitment to service.
Books about Black history fill the library at Hickman Mills South Middle School. Soon, the school will have a new name thanks to a man who continues to write Black history in Kansas City.
The Hickman Mills school board voted to name the building Alvin Brooks Middle School at its December meeting.
Hickman Mills South Middle School proudly welcomed 13 outstanding students into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) during a special induction ceremony on February 4, 2025. With a gym packed full of family, staff, and current NJHS members, the event celebrated these exceptional students' hard work, dedication, and character.
