  • SUMMER MATH CHALLENGE: On average, all students, regardless of socio-economic status, lose approximately 2.6 months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation over the summer months each year.  The Summer Math Challenge is a FREE math skills maintenance open to students who've completed grades 1 through 8.  From June 19th through July 28th parents will receive daily emails with fun activities and links to educational resources.  Learn more at the Summer Math Challenge's website.

  • IT'S HERE:  Parents can now use HMC-1's new Web Store to pay student fees such as library and textbook fines, purchase yearbooks pay senior dues, and more. Get directions here.

  • SUMMER SCHOOL APPLICATIONS are now available and will be sent home with students the week of March 27. Applications are due by April 21.  Summer school will run June 5-June 20, 2017. Learn more about summer school.  Click here to download the application and fact sheets.

  • DON'T MISS OUT: Beginning this spring, parents will be able to register online for the 2017-2018 school year! A new online fee/payment system will also become available. Parents must have an online Parent Portal account created to access both of these new additions. Click here to create your account, or visit Ingel's library media center for help so you can be ready when these systems go live!

  • NEW HARASSMENT & BULLYING POLICY POSTED: Important information related to changes in Missouri criminal codes has been posted to the District's website. These changes may have an impact on students in the HMC-1 community. The purpose behind the new laws is to protect students who fall victim to bullying and to discourage students from engaging in any sort of physical altercations.

    As of January 1, 2017, substantial revisions to some of the Missouri criminal codes took effect. Please see the newly posted policy for details and answers to frequently asked questions.

  • Dress Code: Beginning with the 2016-2017 school year, students district-wide will follow a standard dress code. Uniforms will no longer be required. You can find dress code guidelines here.
