SUMMER MATH CHALLENGE: On average, all students, regardless of socio-economic status, lose approximately 2.6 months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation over the summer months each year. The Summer Math Challenge is a FREE math skills maintenance open to students who've completed grades 1 through 8. The recall is the result of potential product contamination caused by Listeria monocytogenes. There has not been any reported cases of illness, according to the manufacturer, Pinnacle Foods. For more information on the recall, click here.
NEW HARASSMENT & BULLYING POLICY POSTED: Important information related to changes in Missouri criminal codes has been posted to the District's website. These changes may have an impact on students in the HMC-1 community. The purpose behind the new laws is to protect students who fall victim to bullying and to discourage students from engaging in any sort of physical altercations.
As of January 1, 2017, substantial revisions to some of the Missouri criminal codes took effect. Please see the newly posted policy for details and answers to frequently asked questions.

Enroll your Santa Fe student in LINC for the 2016-17 school year! Students can come to Santa Fe August 15-17, 8:00-11:00 am, 3:00-6:00 pm to enroll. Beginning this school year, LINC will be free of charge. Due to parking lot repavement, please park in the Hickman Mills Freshman Center's back parking lot and walk to the front of Santa Fe.
