Homebound Program
-
The primary purpose of homebound instruction is to provide on a referral basis for students with medical concerns, an education for those students who are unable to attend school due to an illness. Documentation must be provided a licensed medical physician prior to the initiation of services.
Qualifying for Homebound Instruction
-
Section IV of the Homebound application must be completed by the attending physician with the recommendation for the length of time the student will require homebound. It is important to note that the school district makes the final determination of the total length of homebound services to be provided.
For more information, contact an administrator in the building where your student attends.
