InPlay - Activities for Kids
With families sheltering-in-place, InPlay, our partner for out-of-school learning, has created a list of home-based, instructor-led programs offered by your favorite providers to keep your kids active and engaged.
Child Care

KC Parks is partnering with Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kansas City to offer a Virtual Learning Site for students enrolled in grades Kindergarten – 6th. This NEW Virtual Learning Site will offer students a place for Virtual School. Breakfast, lunch and snack will be served to all students. Licensed and trained staff will provide instruction and assist with virtual learning. Students will have the opportunity to participate in fun recreation activities as well as complete assignments. Extended day option is available through 6pm, Social distancing and masks will be required. Upper Room created an “Out-of-School” programming option for families that will provide academic support while children are outside of the school building. The program is free. Learn more about this resource here.
