Mrs. Kacy Parker, Principal
June 9, 2023
We had an amazing school year with so many things to celebrate! We ended the year with continued support from families as we celebrated our PreK graduations, Field Day Fun, our end-of-year Family Ice Cream Social, and I can't forget about our PreK Prom! I am so grateful, and I thank you for partnering with us to make this a successful school year.
Now the school year has come to a close, we hope you will spend your summer making time for family, friends, and fun. Many of our students are attending our district's Summer Learning Program, HORAY! There are also other wonderful things to do this summer together. The Mid-Continent Library offers Family Story Time, and a Summer Library Reading Program https://www.mymcpl.org/features/summer-library-program.
When you're cooking dinner, and you want to engage your child/children, call Dial-A-Story (816) 701-6904 and let them listen to a story. The library is also offering free meals for anyone 18 and under with their Read and Feed Program https://www.mymcpl.org/services/read-and-feed
. Our local library has a lot to offer. I have listed a few other family activities below:
