Flyer Distribution with Peachjar

To enhance access to programs and resources that positively impact the trajectory of our students' lives, HMC-1 is utilizing Peachjar's services to post approved flyers on each school's website. Peachjar helps ensure accessibility to important information and announcements for parents, guardians, students, and staff. The Communications and Community Engagement Department has outlined the following information and guidelines regarding utilizing the Peachjar platform.

Peachjar for families:

With Peachjar, discover a centralized hub for all essential school and community updates! In addition to email notifications from your school, easily access all active flyers by locating the 'Peachjar' button or icon on your school website.

Guidelines:

To support the fundamental educational goals of the district and directly enhance student experiences, HMC-1 establishes the following guidelines for posted information:

Each request will undergo review by the Communications and Community Engagement Department, considering the outlined criteria. Non-approval of posted information does not reflect disapproval of the activity/event but is made in the best interest of Hickman Mills C-1 Schools.

The information must align with the district's educational mission and provide intrinsic value to students.
Posts must comply with Board policy and state and federal laws.
Promotion of illegal substances or materials inconsistent with school objectives is prohibited.
Content must not be lewd, obscene, libelous, or discriminatory.
Posts should not incite unlawful behavior, violate school rules, or disrupt operations.
Political endorsements are prohibited unless all perspectives are presented equally during school hours or scheduled events.
Endorsement of specific products or services by the district is not implied.
Peachjar and HMC-1 may request nonprofit status verification.

How to Use Peachjar

Peachjar for Community Organizations

We aim to inform families about district-approved community programs and resources, including those offered by organizations like yours! Utilizing Peachjar incurs a fee for this service, often significantly less than the expenses of printing and distributing paper flyers. Additionally, Peachjar offers numerous advantages, such as clickable buttons directing parents to your website, detailed flyer performance reports, and the convenience of saving time by eliminating the need for physical distribution to each school.

To submit your flyer for district approval, review our Flyer Approval Guidelines as posted above. Then follow the steps below:

Register your account as a Community Organization on Peachjar.com
Review Peachjar’s Guide for Community Organizations for information about discount pricing, flyer creation tips, and more
Go to ‘Post & Notify’ in your account to submit a flyer

After you hit submit, your flyer will be automatically submitted to the district for approval. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to parents and posted on each school’s web flyerboard for your selected duration of time. Create a Peachjar Account

How to create a Peachjar account:

Create an account at https://www.peachjar.com.
The Communications and Community Engagement Department will approve all flyers for posting on Peachjar.
To ensure timely posting, flyers should be uploaded for approval at least ten (10) business days in advance of the event.
Paper copies of the information will not be distributed to students and are not to be delivered to school buildings.
Flyers will be posted only for nonprofit organizations. Exceptions may be approved by the superintendent’s office or by his/her designee.
Flyers will remain posted up to 30 days.

Peachjar's Community Free Program

Peachjar's Community Free Flyer Program is our way of giving back to communities by covering the fees for one Community Free Flyer per 30 days for organizations promoting a charitable free program, service or resource where children are the direct beneficiary. By incurring this service fee, we hope to make it even easier for these organizations to get the word out and impact the lives of even more children.

What Qualifies as a Community Free Flyer?

Your charitable program, service or resource directly benefits children and does not require participants to qualify, has no enticement for future fee-based programs, and does not serve the purpose of fundraising, collecting donations or allowing for the purchase of products or services.

Your organization is not nationally recognized and physically resides within the boundaries of the school district you wish to distribute to.

Your organization is not receiving fees or revenue from vendors participating in the event.

Submissions are limited to one flyer distribution to one school district every 30 days. If you wish to distribute to more than one school district or more frequently than every 30 days. You may choose to distribute a standard flyer, subject to Peachjar's fees.

How It Works

Every Community Free flyer submission will go through this process:

Review these qualifications and limitations to ensure your program/event is appropriate for our Community Free Program.
Submit your application to Peachjar with the program/event flyer.
Peachjar will review your application in 3-5 business days and notify you about whether your program event qualifies.
If your application is accepted by Peachjar, your flyer will be sent to the school district for their distribution approval at no charge.
If declined by Peachjar, your flyer will be saved as a draft so you can still post your flyer using the standard method.
If your flyer is approved by the school district, it's all set for distribution.
If denied by the school district, you will be notified and your flyer will not be distributed.

Make sure you have the final version of your flyer ready before you begin the application.
