Department of District Support Services
The Department of District Support Services is responsible for managing and overseeing various aspects of the school's daily operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive learning environment. The school operations department plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the school’s and district athletic activities, custodial services, physical infrastructure of buildings & grounds, nutrition services, safety measures, transportation services, capital bond projects, and other support services. These department’s efforts contribute to creating a conducive learning environment for students and a well-managed work environment for teachers and staff.
Teams
- Athletics and Activities Team: The Athletics and Activities team schedules athletic events, practices, and games. They coordinate with coaches, other schools, and sports organizations to plan the sports calendar. The team also oversees logistics for home games, such as field preparation, security, and ticketing.
- Transportation Team: The Transportation team manages the school district's transportation services, including bus routes, schedules, and driver supervision. They ensure that transportation policies are followed, vehicles are correctly maintained, and appropriate safety measures are in place.
