Why I Chose Education as My Career of Choice
Teaching has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I was always pretending that I was a teacher. It all started with a couple of great teachers/mentors, who inspired and encouraged me. While in high school, my interest was further sparked when I completed a work study program working with children. Every day after school, I worked with preschoolers. I was amazed to see little ones learn and develop in many creative and unique ways. That passion is what led me to my career as a SPED teacher, making a difference in a safe environment of learning, fun, and adventure.
I enjoy traveling with my family and friends; camping, canoeing, visiting museums, zoos, and restaurants.
