Why I Chose Education as My Career of Choice

I knew I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in the 2nd Grade.  I loved to play “school’ at home with my dolls or my cousin.  I enjoyed helping my students learn and teaching things in different ways.  

My focus later turned to music where I realized I could teach so many different things and enhance students’ main subjects through fun music activities.  Many times my students don’t even realize how much they are learning because they are having so much fun.

Personal Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy my two cats and one dog and sometimes sitting outside by the firepit.  I  also enjoy working on jigsaw puzzles and have quite a collection hanging in my home.
