Missouri Course Access Program

  • In 2018, Senate Bill 603 was passed establishing the Missouri Course Access and Virtual Program (MOCAP). MOCAP is intended to provide access to online courses for all Missouri K-12 students needing flexible academic programming through online coursework.

Starting in August 2023, Hickman Mills C-1 School District will no longer offer online services. While the district will no longer provide services for full-time online learners, families are welcome to enroll through a Missouri Course Access Program (MOCAP) online vendor. Enrollment with an approved state vendor is paid by the state and free to the family. As outlines in the Missouri House Bill 1552, students who enroll as a full- time online student with a MOCAP host vendor will no longer be enrolled in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District but with the school district who is hosting the online program.

Steps to enrollment in a Full-Time MOCAP Program is provided here. Below are a few approved MOCAP vendors and their links below:

Enrollment with an approved MOCAP online vendor does not require approval from the resident school district (Hickman Mills C-1 School District).
