Feed System
The Hickman Mills C-1 School District follows a structured feeder system to provide a smooth transition for students as they progress from elementary to middle and high school. Each elementary school feeds into a designated middle school, which then leads to Ruskin High School, ensuring continuity in academic programs, student support, and extracurricular opportunities. This system helps build strong connections among students, staff, and families, creating a consistent and supportive learning experience throughout their education at HMC-1.
Early Years Programs
At the heart of our district's commitment to fostering lifelong learners, the Early Childhood Program is a beacon of nurturing, learning, and growth. We understand the critical importance of early childhood education, and our programs at Freda Markley Early Childhood Center, John Sharp Early Education Center, and the Parents as Teachers program are designed to provide your child with the best possible start.
Elementary Schools
The Hickman Mills School District is proud to offer a comprehensive and enriching elementary education program designed to nurture and inspire every student. Each school embraces the district's mission to prepare students for success in an ever-changing world, and each has its own unique approach to fostering a love of learning.
