The first day of school is almost here, and we invite all HMC-1 families to join us for Back-to-School Night! This special evening is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers, connect with principals and staff, explore classrooms, and learn what to expect for an exciting new school year.
Whether your child is starting Pre-K, moving into a new grade, or beginning middle school, Back-to-School Night is the perfect way to build connections, ask questions, and help your student feel confident and ready for a successful year.

HMC-1 and T-Mobile Project 10Million Offers Free Hotspots
As we prepare for the new school year, we realize that some of our families do not have internet available at home.
HMC-1 is partnering with T-Mobile’s Project 10Million to help bridge the digital divide by providing FREE internet access to qualifying students. This program ensures every student can stay connected and succeed in school – whether at home or on the go.
Benefits of Project 10Million:
- Free T-Mobile hotspot with 100GB of data per year for five years
- No cost, fees, or credit checks
- Reliable nationwide internet access
- Easy setup and simple activation
Who Qualifies:
- Students enrolled in the Hickman Mills C-1 School District
- Families who qualify for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or other government assistance programs

REMINDER: Cell Phone Policy
Missouri Senate Bill 68 now requires all public schools to restrict student use of personal communication devices – including cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and tablets – during the school day.
