Welcome to the Hickman Mills School District Elementary Education Program!

The Hickman Mills School District is proud to offer a comprehensive and enriching elementary education program designed to nurture and inspire every student. Our seven elementary schools—Compass, Dobbs, Ervin, Ingels, Santa Fe, Truman, and Warford—are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and academically challenging environment where students can grow academically and socially. Each school embraces the district's mission to prepare students for success in an ever-changing world, and each has its own unique approach to fostering a love of learning.

"Success is Our Destination" at Compass Elementary, where we celebrate and encourage every student and staff member to do their best. Our mission is to create a caring, student-centered environment that fosters academic and social growth, preparing our students to reach their highest potential. We actively partner with community organizations to provide the best support system for our students, ensuring that everyone can thrive. Our focus on increasing math and reading achievement, improving student attendance, and prioritizing social and emotional health drives our commitment to guiding each child toward a bright and promising future.

Dobbs Elementary is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and meaningful learning community where all students can achieve their highest potential. We prioritize building solid relationships within our school community, with a strong LINC relationship, a growing PTO, and partnerships with community organizations. Our school hosts enriching events, such as "Donuts with Grown Ups" and "Halloween Trunk or Treat," that bring our community together and create lasting memories for our students. We also provide robust academic support, including dedicated literacy interventionists and after-school tutoring, ensuring every student receives the assistance they need to succeed.

Welcome to Ervin Elementary, where our mission is to provide a nurturing environment that encourages every student to achieve their highest potential. We believe in the power of a strong home-school partnership and are committed to working closely with families to support each child's academic and personal development. Our dedicated educators bring innovative teaching methods to the classroom, creating engaging learning experiences that last a lifetime. We value open communication with families and encourage involvement in our school community, ensuring this year is filled with remarkable achievements and memorable moments.
