Building Assessment

  • HMC-1's architect Hollis + Miller performed a district-wide building assessment in 2019. Infrastructure needs were found at nearly all of the district’s aging buildings.

The building assessments tallies an estimated total of $108 million needed to address them all needs. A snapshot of each building is below.

Money from a no tax increase bond would allow HMC-1 to address some of the issues outlined in the report. No dollar amount has been determined for a 2020 bond; that will be likely be discussed at the February 20 Board of Education meeting.
