  • Parents & Guardians: We need your help in completing the Title I Parent Evaluation Survey. If you did not complete this survey earlier in the year, we need to hear from you! Your opinion is vital as our Title I funds ensure all of our children have access to a high-quality education.

  • Mid-Continent Public Library's Blue Ridge branch is presenting "Meet a Seeing Eye Dog" program on Wednesday, April 5 at 2:30 pm. Learn the history of the Seeing Eye Dog program and how these puppies are selected and trained. You’ll then get see a demonstration by one of these unique and talented dogs. Click here for more information.

  • APPOINTMENTS TO EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP: We are excited to announce that during the Hickman Mills C-1 School District Board of Education meeting on March 23, the board approved two appointments to the Executive Leadership Team. These appointments will be effective July 1, 2017.

    • Dawn Smith will be the Associate Superintendent of Student Services. Smith is currently the Ruskin High School principal.
    • Dan Weakley was appointed the next Executive Director of Operations. Weakley is currently the Smith-Hale Middle School principal.

  • The calendar for the 2017-2018 school year has been published. An important change to note is that students will no longer be let out one hour early every Wednesday. Instead, students will have one half day of school each month (two in December), allowing staff to paticpate in professional development. A copy of the calendar will go home with students the week of March 20.
