  • Ruskin and Smith Hale team up to win first place overall at Prep-KC's Math Relays!  Saturday, November 9th, Ruskin High School and Smith Hale Middle School both competed in PREP-KC's 10th annual Math Relays hosted here at Ruskin High School.  PREP-KC invites their five partner districts as well as their partner charter schools to participate in the Math Relays.  To receive first place as a district, Hickman Mills earned the highest percentage of points based on the number of participants.  This year we had 31 of our 34 Ruskin students earn either an individual and/or team medal.    Congratulations to all the Ruskin competitors and their coaches for a job well done.

  • VISITOR & VOLUNTEER SECURITY PROCEDURES: Beginning Monday, September 17, 2018, all HMC-1 buildings will begin using the Raptor Visitor Management System to strengthen campus safety for students and faculty. The Raptor system will better allow us to screen visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools and provide us with a safer environment for our students and staff. Upon entering a district building, visitors will be asked to present a government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, which can either be scanned or manually entered into the system. For more information and details about updated volunteer background checks, please visit our informational page.
