(South Kansas City) HMC-1 is launching a new friendly competition between schools to increase attendance throughout the district. Many school districts across the country have seen a post-pandemic drop in morale and lagging attendance. This district-wide attendance incentive program will provide a school-wide celebration for the school with the best monthly attendance percentages.

The following monthly incentives go to the school with the highest attendance rate based on the Average Daily Attendance.

• October           Variety of Snacks with water                           November 1, 2022
• November       Popcorn                                                           December 1, 2022
• December       Cinnamon Buns                                               January 2, 2023
• January           Cookies/Brownies                                            February 1, 2023
• February         Donuts                                                              March 1, 2023
• March             Popsicles                                                          April 3, 2023
• April                Push Ups                                                          May 1, 2023
