NJHS Welcomes New Members
Service, leadership, character... Students hear about these values every day in school. On Thursday, March 2, those Smith-Hale Middle School students who exhibited a willingness to help others, dedication to their grades, and fit other value criteria received the honor of being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS).
This spring, 23 students were inducted into the prestigious program. For these new members, their NJHS membership is another opportunity for them to develop the habits and standards so important to success in high school, college, and a career.
NJHS elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond.
Congratulations scholars!
