Urban Community Connections invites all Hickman Mills C-1 families to the 9th Annual Christmas In July: The Connection Fair, Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. This year's fair is located at Smith Hale Middle School at 9010A Old Santa Fe Rd., Kansas City, MO.

 

This is a day of Christmas-themed fun and is at NO COST for families. While raising awareness of the invaluable resources offered by Urban Community Connections and its community partners, more than 750 community members of all ages partner with UCC for this fun-filled family-friendly endeavor. The social, educational, and recreational atmosphere provides community members the opportunity to connect with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and retail vendors while gaining access to an array of valuable resources.

 

Toy/gift giveaways, mechanical attractions, vendor expos, education connection zone, bounce houses, steam corners, health and safety zone, food trucks, live entertainment, and amazing giveaways are a few of this year's highlight features. Plus, the Kansas City Health Department will also be on-site for immunizations.
